Stranniki en concierto
Fue un gran concierto el de Stranniki en el San Froilan. Lo que empezó siendo un pequeño grupo de gente acabó por ser un número importante de personas disfrutando de la música de estos cinco hombres: Vadim Yukhnevich (acordeón y voces), Olef Savchuk (violín), Yuni Sidar (bajo), Antonio Vazquez Seoane (percusión) y mi admirado Totó Barreiro (guitarra flamenca), sustituyendo al cubano Danilo, que ha dejado la formación.
Semejantes músicos reunidos no podían defraudar, y en efecto, haciendo honor a su nombre (stranniki significa peregrino), hicieron un recorrido por diferentes músicas del mundo: desde el tango de piazzolla, hasta piezas populares de Ucrania y Bielorusia.
Una vez más se nos demuestra lo injusto que esto de la música y el mercado. Se llenaron hasta los topes conciertos como los del Sueño de morfeo (un nombre bastante acorde a las sensaciones que me despiertan), y sin embargo, Stranniki jamás saldrá en los cuarenta principales.
En fin, nada nuevo. Esperamos poder tener el lujo de tocar con Totó en alguno de nuestros conciertos. Todo se andará.
